Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, second try

Brought the grind one click finer this morning. Stone fruit on the nose, less acid up front. The third cup of the same beans is always the most honest one.

Things I keep on the shelf

• One single-cup dripper
• A small kitchen scale
• Three mugs, only one I actually use
• An old kettle that whistles too loud

On the weight of beans

I have been weighing everything to a tenth of a gram and it has not made the coffee better. It has made me more attentive, which might be the same thing eventually.
